ICDE Prizes of Excellence

Established in 1999, the ICDE Prizes of Excellence are among the most prestigious recognitions in the field of open, flexible, online, and distance education. They honour institutions and individuals whose work has significantly advanced education worldwide and are awarded by an independent international jury based on nominations submitted by ICDE members.

The prizes are presented during the ICDE World Conference, bringing international visibility before a global audience of institutional leaders, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners. The awards recognise excellence in institutional leadership, innovation, individual achievement, and long-term contributions to the field.

Partnerships and Networks

By forging partnerships with international and regional associations, ICDE facilitates knowledge exchange and cross-nation collaborative opportunities for its members.
