About the task force
The Global Advocacy Campaign (GAC) task force for Africa was established in March 2024. It is led by the African Council for Distance Education (ACDE), a continental educational organization comprising African universities and other higher education institutions, who are committed to expanding access to quality education and training through Open and Distance Learning. It has its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
