Who can join?

Membership is open to institutions, organisations and individuals working in or interested in inclusive education. This includes higher education institutions, public bodies, NGOs, networks, students, individual practitioners and others committed to the field.

What is the cost for Institutional Membership?

There is an annual ICDE Membership fee:

➤ The fee for Institutional Membership for 2026 is €1,450.
➤ All new institutional applicants will also be required to pay a one-time application processing fee of €75.

How does an institution apply for ICDE membership?

1. Complete and submit the Institutional Membership Application Form.
2. Pay the one-time application fee (€75).
3. If your institution awards qualifications, provide accreditation documentation if requested.
4. The ICDE Secretariat reviews the application and supporting documents.
5. Applications are processed within approximately 30 days.
6. If approved, you will receive an invoice for the annual membership fee.
7. Once payment is received, your institution is welcomed as an official ICDE member.

What is the cost for Individual and Student Membership?

There is an annual ICDE Membership fee:
➤ The fee for Individual Membership for 2026 is €200.

➤ Student Membership is free and only requires payment of a one-time application fee of €25.

How do I become an ICDE Individual Member?

To apply for Individual Membership, complete the Individual Membership Application Form and pay the annual membership fee through the online payment portal. Applications are reviewed by the ICDE Secretariat, and applicants will receive confirmation and a welcome email once their membership has been approved and activated.

How can I apply for ICDE Student Membership?

To apply for Student Membership, complete the Student Membership Application Form, pay the one-time application fee, and provide proof of enrolment in a master's or PhD programme at an accredited institution. Applications are reviewed by the ICDE Secretariat to confirm eligibility. Once approved, applicants will receive a welcome email and gain access to free student membership for the duration of their eligible studies.
