Principles and Standards for the Evaluation and Accreditation of educational programmes in higher education institutions 2017. Distance mode

The CIEES framework of reference for the evaluation of higher education programmes 2017, in the distance mode, is organised into 4 axes, 12 categories and 51 indicators (aspects or features) that are reviewed and assessed by the different bodies involved in the evaluation process. These axes, categories and indicators group together characteristics that must be common to all higher education programmes; therefore, they are not specific to a particular programme, degree or postgraduate course, to a family of programmes or a type of institution. It also considers specific indicators that are only applicable to the educational programmes offered in the distance mode.
