Candidates for the ICDE Board 2026-2029

Elections for the ICDE Board 2026 – 2029 will take place between 12 September – 16 October 2025. The eligible candidates are listed below.

The term of office of three present members of the ICDE Board comes to an end on 31 December 2025. These members are:

Neil Fassina  (Institutional)

Melinda Bandalaria (Institutional)

Ebba Ossiannilsson (Institutional)

The other three members of the present ICDE Board, whose terms continue until the end of 2025, are Mark Nichols (President), Mpine Makoe, and Andreia Inamorato (representing Individual members).

Candidates

There are three institutional seats up for election this year.

ICDE Institutional Members can vote for these three seats.

The candidates are (in alphabetical order):

  • Margaret Korosec – University of Leeds, United Kingdom
  • Kgomotso Moahi – Botswana Open University, Botswana
  • Joane Serrano – University of the Philippines Open University, Philippines
  • Divya Singh – STADIO Higher Education, South Africa
  • Veronica Thompson – Royal Roads University, Canada

Voting process

Voting opens 12 September and closes 16 October 2025.

Only ICDE members with no outstanding membership fees are eligible to vote. Voting instructions will be sent to all valid members on 12 September.
