This report was put together by European University Association based on the results of European Commission funded project, Examining Quality Culture in European Higher Education Institutions. The aim of the  project has been to ask the institutions how, and through which activities, they are responding to the challenge of assuring and enhancing the quality of their provision. This report focuses on the activities developed by universities to enhance their internal quality, to improve their accountability and thereby also implementing the European Standards and Guidelines (ESGs) in practice, and is based on the results of a survey completed by 222 institutions across Europe.
