The Forum will aim to be a virtual meeting place for the open and distance education community around the globe.

It features a Global conference calendar, designed to provide an overview of all physical meetings worldwide which cover issues related to the field.

The Message board service will be launched shortly and will be an open forum for news, calls for assistance and collaboration, and general questions to ICDE and other users of the website.

It is also envisaged that fora will be launched on specific subjects, chaired by leading figures and designed to bring discussions to a wider audience, for consultation, brainstorming and consensus building.

This section will also feature a Video library with clips of presentations from ICDE meetings and conferences, and case studies from member institutions.

In 2010, ICDE will launch a series of online interactive seminars.
